Chasing an unpaid membership fee from memory, hunting for the right attendance sheet before the general meeting, wondering whether a donation receipt was actually issued properly: the daily reality of a small association's committee in France. This application brings together members, dues, general meetings, committee terms, donations and tax receipts.
Who the application is for
For the committee — treasurer, chair, secretary — of an association governed by the French law of 1 July 1901, who tracks its members, dues and general meetings, and, where entitled, its donations and tax receipts.
What the application does
- Keeps a file per member, with their dues category and the people attached to them (a legal representative for a minor, a payer for a family membership).
- Calls the membership fee, automatically creates and posts the matching invoice, then chases it by email up to a maximum number of reminders that you set.
- Prepares the general meeting's attendance sheet, with proxies given by absent members, and automatically calculates whether the quorum has been reached.
- Tracks the committee's elected terms with their dates, and refuses to let a single-holder position be held by two people over overlapping periods.
- Records a donation, from a member or from an outside donor, and issues a numbered tax receipt once the association's eligibility has been confirmed by you in the settings.
- Locks the tax reduction rate and the legal wording onto each receipt at the moment it is issued, and lists every receipt by financial year.
Day to day
- Create each member's file and call their membership fee when it falls due: the invoice and the reminder follow automatically.
- Prepare the general meeting: attendance sheet, proxies from absent members, automatically calculated quorum.
- Record a donation and, if eligibility is confirmed, issue the matching tax receipt.
- Track the committee's terms as they are renewed, entering an end date before opening a new one on the same position.
- At year end, check the list of tax receipts issued, filterable by financial year, for your accounting export.
What the application does not do
- It does not check whether your association is entitled to issue tax receipts: it is for you to verify this with the French tax authorities, ideally through a formal ruling, and then confirm it explicitly in the settings. This rule changes and is for them alone to decide, not the application.
- It does not electronically submit anything to the tax authorities.
- It does not handle electronic voting at a general meeting.
- It does not keep a full set of non-profit accounts (balance sheet, income statement), beyond standard invoicing.
- It does not open any online members' portal.
Free and full editions
The free edition already carries member files, membership fees called and manually marked as paid, general meetings with an automatically calculated quorum, and committee terms with an overlap check, with no time limit at all. The full edition installs on top without losing anything, and adds automatic invoicing of dues, their email reminders, donations and tax receipts.
Getting started
Create your dues categories, then your member files. If you plan to issue tax receipts, first check your association's eligibility yourself, confirm it explicitly in the settings, and enter the tax reduction rate as well as the legal wording to show on the receipt.
