A fare set by the local authority to apply down to the kilometre, a health-fund share to calculate for every agreed journey, a corporate invoice to rebuild ride by ride at month end: the self-employed taxi driver or small fleet manager spends precious time on this repetitive paperwork. This application records each ride at the rate from your own fare grid, calculates the split for an agreed journey and groups the invoicing, without ever setting a fare for you.
Who the application is for
For the self-employed taxi driver or the manager of a small fleet, in France, applying a fare grid set by the local prefecture's order and working, or wanting to work, with corporate accounts or health-fund patient transport agreements (CPAM, private health insurers).
What the application does
- Calculates the amount of a ride from your own fare grid (pick-up charge, per-kilometre rate by time band, waiting charge, extras), then fixes that amount for good: a grid changed later never alters a ride already recorded.
- Flags, without ever blocking the entry, a ride whose amount exceeds a ceiling fare you have set yourself.
- Tracks each driver's professional card with an alert before it expires, and each driver's assignment to a vehicle.
- Calculates, for a journey agreed with a health fund or private insurer, the share covered by the body and the share left to the customer, based on the agreement's rate, and fixes that calculation too.
- Groups a corporate account's rides over a chosen period into a single invoice, or, for a health fund, only the share due to it.
- Prints a summary statement of invoiced rides, and shows turnover by driver or by vehicle over the period you choose.
Day to day
- Create your fare grid with the rates actually in force in your area, as set by the prefecture's order.
- Record each ride with its customer, driver, vehicle and fare time band; confirm it once it is finished.
- For an agreed journey, enter the relevant health-fund or insurer agreement: the split is calculated on its own.
- At the end of the period, consolidate a corporate account's or a health fund's confirmed rides into a grouped invoice, then invoice.
What the application does not do
- It does not update any regulated fare automatically: each new order from the prefecture requires you to create or revise your grid yourself.
- It does not electronically submit any invoice to a health fund: the expected format is specific to each body and must be checked with it before going live.
- It offers neither geolocation nor an online booking dispatch service.
- It does not verify or issue the professional card or the parking permit: only tracking their validity is covered, and the rules that apply to your activity, set by the competent authority, can change.
Free and full editions
The free edition records rides, keeps your regulated fare grid, tracks drivers and vehicles, and shows turnover. The full edition installs on top with nothing to re-enter, and adds health-fund and insurer agreements with their calculated split, plus grouped invoicing for corporate accounts and health funds, with its printable summary statement.
Getting started
Get hold of the order currently in force from your local prefecture and create your fare grid before taking any ride. Declare your vehicles and drivers, then, if you work with health funds or private insurers, create their agreements with the agreed coverage rate.
