Amateur sport: licences, teams and call-ups

Working out which licence is still valid, checking by hand that a medical certificate actually covers a fixture date, chasing each called-up member yourself: the daily reality of an affiliated club, committee or sports federation in France. This application brings together licences, teams, fixtures and call-ups, for a body that can be affiliated to several federations, leagues or committees at once.

Who the application is for

For affiliated clubs, committees, leagues and sports federations in France, who track their members' licences, put together teams and organise fixtures. Each body can be linked to a parent body, to reconstruct the discipline's real pyramid — a district committee attached to a regional league, itself attached to a federation.

What the application does

  • Records your federations, leagues, committees and districts with their hierarchy and your affiliation number with each of them.
  • Records one licence per member, season and federation, with its number, the two medical certificate dates checked against each other, and the legal representative for a minor.
  • Tracks each licence through four stages (incomplete file, requested, valid, expired), and refuses a second licence for the same member on the same season and the same federation.
  • Puts together teams attached to a section and a season, with their coach and their squad.
  • Schedules fixtures with dates, venue and entered teams, checking that every entered team belongs to the fixture's own season.
  • Calls up one member per fixture, tracks their response, whether transport is needed and a free-text note, without being able to call them up twice to the same fixture.

Day to day

  1. Record your federations, leagues and committees, with their hierarchy and your affiliation number.
  2. Record each member's licence, with their medical certificate dates and, for a minor, their legal representative.
  3. Put together your teams by section and season, with their coach.
  4. Schedule a fixture and enter the current season's teams.
  5. Call up each member and enter their response as replies come in.

What the application does not do

  • It does not send call-ups by email or text, and does not open any portal where the member would reply themselves: responses are entered by the club.
  • It does not expire a licence by itself: you are the one who moves its status forward.
  • It does not connect to any federation's own system: no filing or import is made with a federation.
  • It does not calculate any sporting result, ranking or match sheet.

Getting started

Record your federations, leagues and committees with their affiliation number, then create your members' licences with their medical certificate dates — to be checked by you, as this rule may change depending on the federation concerned. Then put together your teams by section and season, and schedule your first fixtures before attaching your call-ups to them.
