A small business does not lose a public tender at the award stage. It loses it earlier, spending three days on a consultation where price carried most of the score, or where a required certification was not covered by anyone on the team. This application does that sorting before you spend the time.
Who the application is for
For the owner or sales manager of a small business bidding, or considering bidding, for French and European public tenders, who needs to decide quickly whether it is worth committing to one.
What the application does
- Gathers notices from two data sources, BOAMP for France and TED for the European Union, one record per notice, never overwriting the stage or decision you have already entered.
- Sorts notices using three settings specific to your trade: what falls within it, what must be excluded, and what can be delivered remotely outside your usual area.
- Carries the weighted scoring grid of each notice and sets aside, with the reason written out, any consultation where price weighs more than the threshold you set.
- Tracks the eligibility conditions required and who covers them — you, or a subcontractor you have declared — and flags a condition nobody covers.
- Flags whether the set-up depends on a single subcontractor for every condition covered, without ever blocking the decision: it remains yours.
- For Belgium, identifies the mandatory language of the bid according to the buyer's region and blocks moving to drafting if that language is still unknown or is not one of those you have declared you can produce.
- Gathers the award results that are available to spot niches where few bids are submitted.
Day to day
- Before the first collection run, set your three sorting expressions to your own trade: the values shipped are those of a different sector.
- Let the daily collection create or update notices, and read the alert addressed to you for each new notice.
- Open the notice, check the mandatory language first for a Belgian file, then fill in the scoring grid and the eligibility conditions.
- Read the Go or No-go verdict and its reason, decide, then move the notice through to Filed, Awarded or Lost.
- Follow award results and below-threshold prospecting to spot where competition is weak.
What the application does not do
- It does not promise to win any tender: it sorts what is worth attempting, the decision and the response remain yours.
- It does not download consultation files and does not extract any weighting from them: that is the purpose of a separate application.
- It does not draft any response document and does not submit anything on a procurement platform.
- It sends no email to a buyer, and BOAMP and TED are only data sources it consults, with no partnership of any kind.
- Public procurement rules, in Belgium in particular, change and vary by region: the application does not replace the advice of a public procurement law professional.
Getting started
Set your three sorting expressions to your own trade, your departments or classification codes and your price-weight threshold, declare your subcontractors with their capabilities, then switch on the two collection tasks, shipped inactive as a precaution.
