- Freeze entries in the old system and count work in progress.
- Extract, migrate and check master data.
- Migrate open items: stock, orders, manufacturing orders.
- Reconcile quantities and values with the old system.
- Go-live or rollback decision.
- First real operations under close monitoring.
Checkpoints
Each step has an owner, a deadline and a verifiable result. A reconciliation gap not explained by the planned time triggers the decision, not a silent extension.
Limits
Durations depend on data volume and the number of sites; we set them after the dry runs, never before.
