Fix the target
Record the Odoo image or build date, edition, module commit, dependencies and database scenario. Compatibility without an exact target cannot be reproduced.
Install and upgrade
Test both a clean installation and an upgrade from the supported source version. Validate manifests, data files, views, scheduled actions and access rules.
Run real journeys
Use ordinary roles to create, approve, correct and report on representative records. Include expected failures and multi-company boundaries where relevant.
Check data and operations
Verify migration mappings, attachments, email, payments, backups, logs and performance. Separate a prepared port from a tested deployment.
Publish a dated status
Use precise labels such as non-verified, port prepared, tested on a stated image or operational on a named environment. Update the status when evidence changes.
